Housewright’s work concentrates on the prosthetics of maintenance and construction as they relate to Christian traditions of Church architecture to comment on the degradation and entropy of these sacred spaces. Using objects taken from specific institutions she displays the given auras of these objects and their histories. She will graduate from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago May 2016.
